14 days!

There's only 2 weeks (14 days) left until I travel to Thailand for my exchange study! 
This is getting more and more exciting and at the same time more sad. 

I will be away at least 5-6 months, the actual school ends in the middle of December but I have planned to spend Christmas somewhere and also travel to Australia for the New Year's. My apartment contract ends at the end of January so I will probably stay in Thailand until then but if everything goes well I will come back to Finland next summer. I'm suppose to do my practical training (6 months) in Thailand or somewhere else in Asia or even in the USA but if I don't get it, I will have to come back to Finland earlier. I just really really hope that I can find a suitable internship and maybe even get a real job after that! Fortunately there's still time to find it and I will also ask some help from the school in Bangkok :) 

Although there's still some time before I will leave, I have started to gather some stuff that I will take to Thailand. I can buy a lot of things from there but still there are quite a lot that I need or want to take with me. I'm sure I can fit all of them in my own luggage but it's still good that my mum is travelling with me so that way I can definitely take everything I want to and not all have to be in the same bag. 

The weather we're having at the moment is very awful and depressing so I'm actually very excited to leave to a place where it's warm and much nicer although it's now rainy season in Thailand. But I don't care, it's still better than here! 

14 days until I can use proper summer clothes EVERY day! I like the sound of that :)

Muumimaailma - Winter Adventure

Lähdin sunnuntaina retkelle Naantalin Muumimaailmaan koulumme japanilaisten opiskelija vieraiden, muutaman vaihtarin, kavereideni Johannan & Hetan ja muutaman muun kanssa. Päivä alkoi isolla yllätyksellä kun katsoi ikkunasta ulos. Yön aikana oli tullut hirveästi lunta ja juuri edellisenä päivänä saavuttuani takaisin Raumalle, ihastelin kuinka nurmikko näytti rupeavan vihertämään eikä ollut lumesta ja jäästä tietoakaan. Aamulla tilanne oli tyystin erilainen. Koululle jouduin sitten kiireessä rämpimään säären puoliväliin yltävässä lumihangessa, joka oli vähemmän mukavaa, mutta bussiin ehdin, kylläkin aivan märkänä :D Lumen tulo oli kyllä todella kiva juttu Japanilaisille kuten myös italialaiselle vaihtarilleni, joka oli ennen tuloaan odottanut paljon lumen näkemistä ja kokemista, mutta se sitten ehti kaikki jo sulamaan. Nyt sitten koki kuinka suomessakin voi masema muuttua valkoiseksi nopeasti ja yllättäen.  Hieman yhdeksän jälkeen lähdimme ajamaan kohti Muumimaailmaa.  Mitä lähe

Seoul, South Korea 29.4.-8.5.2016 ♥

Earlier this month I spent 10 days in Seoul and this time I was there with my mum and sister. I have to admit this trip was my favorite if I don't think about last year's Dream Concert because that's of course the best thing I have experienced in Korea so far. I really enjoyed spending time with my mum and sister and seeing my Korean friend after almost 1 year. This time I got to experience some new places and neighborhoods, see also familiar places, go shopping and enjoy various K-Pop related things. Probably due to enjoying myself so much and experiencing new cool things, I started to wish I could live there someday. I almost chose Seoul as my exchange study destination but went with Bangkok after all. Because of this trip I started doubting my decision a bit and wishing I could study or do internship in Seoul too. But it's more suitable if I could get a real job and move there... While waiting for that day to come, I can still travel there again and my next trip is
