Bangkok 22.-30.10. ♥

The rest of our trip we were in Bangkok which is my one of my favorite places ♥

We went shopping (of course), sightseeing and to eat different kinds of food.
I got to see and experience a lot of new things although I have been in Bangkok already over 10 times. It's just so huge place that you can always find something new and exciting from there.
I think this time I will keep my writing very short and just show you some (a lot!) pictures which you can enjoy :)
So here we go:

This hotel and our room were very nice!
It's located on Petchburi Road. very near the Pantip Plaza, Platinum mall etc.

Chinatown
We went shopping Chinatown a few times
and also in the Chatuchack weekend market.
There are A LOT of stuff sold in both of these places.
Whatever you need you will find it :D

Strawberry-Milk ♥♥

On one evening we also went to the new Asiatique Market
which replaces the old Lumphini Park Night Market.
It's recommended to go there by boat not taxi and I definitely agree.
The boat is free and quick. The market itself has many shops and restaurants.
The prices in the shops are a bit more expensive than in some other places but the place is still worth the visit. There's also a Ferris wheel but due to rain we didn't go there :(

One day me and Johanna had planned to go to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho (a temple near the Grand Palace) but we ended up on going to several places :D
We went to see the Lucky Buddha, Wat Intharawihan, one temple which name I don't remember anymore, the Marble Temple and in the end the Grand Palace.
After the Grand Palace we were too tired to go to the Wat Pho so we decided to skip that because we had already seen many temples.

Finally pictures of what I bought and one food collage :)

Kobe Steakhouse ♥
It was near the hotel and the food was very good! But the staff was not so good...

Finally I was able to buy all EXO's albums! ♥

Some of the clothes I bought are missing from this picture

If you ever go to Thailand, Bangkok is definitely one of the must-see places there.
I'm sure there's something for everyone because it's such a huge place filled with all kinds of things.
Bangkok is a city which never sleeps ♥

Puuvillaa & Nälkäpeliä

Moikka! :)

Käytiin perjantaina Johannan kanssa shoppailemassa Porin uudessa ostarissa,
Puuvillassa.

Ensi viikolla alkaa taas ihanien kokeiden aika.

Kivaa viikkoa kaikille! ♥

Elephant Village & Pala U -Waterfall 21.10. ♥

On Tuesday 21.10. we went to a trip which included elephant riding in an Elephant Village and going to see the Pala U -Waterfall which is about 1 hour from Hua Hin city center.
We had made a deal on the previous day with our taxi driver so he came pick us up and took us to both of these places.

1. stop: Elephant Village

After we got ourselves on top of the elephant (which was quite scary :D),
we walked around for an hour :)

When the elephant was going uphill and downhill, I thought I would fall off :D
So be prepared to hold on to anything you can so you won't fall!

We also got to see 2 big lizards. That was exciting :D

After the elephant ride, we ate some free pineapple and bought a framed picture for both of us as a memory of that experience :)
Then we looked for our driver and headed for the waterfall.

2. stop: Pala U -Waterfall

Pala U -Waterfall is in Kaen Krachan National Park, about 60 kilometers from Hua Hin.
Overall the waterfall has 16 steps so it's one of the highest in Thailand.
You can walk to the top but you REALLY have to be in good shape and have good shoes etc because the climbing there is very rough and sometimes quite hard.
We stopped in the fourth one because after that it gets more dangerous and we thought we had seen enough already.
The first 4 steps are really worth the climb, it's very beautiful there and
on the 3rd step there's a very nice place to swim among fishes.
On the way to the top, you can see beautiful nature, old trees and hear animals especially birds. We were actually very lucky because we went there in the rainy season when the waterfall is most beautiful and also the whole place was closed on the previous week because of hard rain. So that day was a very good choice!
Also our taxi driver was the BEST ♥
He came with us and helped us carry our stuff and climb up and down.
He also gave us more info about the place etc.
It was so nice of him and actually when we left from Hua Hin, I started to miss him a bit because I just love when people are nice and helpful to people who they really don't know. And that happens way more often in Thailand than in Finland so that's one of the things I like in Thailand.
Okay now I'm getting a bit off tracked :D
We saw a few young people going to swim there and some people also were eating there with their family so it's quite popular among the local people too.
I definitely recommend this place also even if you're not able to go that far :)
Now some pictures:
